12.

Another day without you
As I lay around in solitude
Reminiscing the way you move
Knowing I didn’t prove
How much I love to
Write of your grandeur
You are the standard
The only good stanzas
Driving little bananas
I am so mean though
Can’t live without go
Wish I could stop and
Sit instead of stand
So I’ll just lay here
Dreaming about her
She’ll be the first to know
That I’m sorry forever ago
But I can’t force her
To come on over
And so in my angst I
Blame, berate and lie
Promise I’ll stop but
Continue my free ride
Nothing left for me
Except crying so softly
Into my bed sheets
Wet tired angry
Love’s still not lost though
In fact, keeps me afloat
The thought that hopefully
She will forgive me
And we still love life
In sweetness and harmony
Lady, I love you
Hope you know that it’s true
And every day I wake up
Or every night I go to sleep
You’re the one I’m counting on
To bring me to reality
And it’s ok if we lost today
Because soon it’ll be far away
So never fret a day that
Feelings fell so flat
Instead breathe in the good times
That sing through your mind’s eye
And every time you seem gloom
Remember spring soon will bloom
And the flowers forming in their bed
Grow to crown your mighty head
As you are the mother of the light
Spreading love and nourished life
No regret can be stated
For the lives we were slated
Please hold on to love
When everyone else has gone wrong
And please continue to light
Our lonely, dark and cold night
If not for me
Then for the lovely J.P.
And if her eyes don’t find you
Remember belly loves you too
And don’t forget the girl boss
Who whistles those pop songs
And all of those lovely smiles
That you bring to faces for miles
Is always so good to me
When you smile with your family
Please also remember me
When you’re reaching finality
I’ll promise to remember you
When my story ends too
And for my next go round
I hope never to make you frown
Instead I’ll tell God to make me good
Give me power to do the things I should
To do the things I couldn’t
Not do the things I shouldn’t
Tell you I care and love you
Take care of no one above you
Until our Lucy rolls along
Singing a Linkin Pumpkin song
