Insanity, from my understanding, is the embarkment on a path of repeated instances without resolution or contentedness over a seeming endpoint. This act of fuzzy thinking may lead certain individuals down paths of incurable mental states, save any pre-existing conditions. One mental state of mainstream note is that of psychosis. Psychosis feels hard to explain, yet when you see it, you know it’s happening. Hallucinogenic states of mind start to overwhelm perceptual modulators and whatever was a sane, conscious entity finds itself in a soirée of colorful (if frightening) machinations of the imagination. Experiencers seem to garner sensational awareness over their surroundings, suddenly seeing or understanding familiar objects as foreign observers awaiting your next twitch. And twitch one does into a state of perilous anxiety that befalls their soul until they are caught betwixt some rational explanation for the occurrences and chaos.
What to do for yourself/the individual? I would essentially recommend the use of water, whether that be by rehydration via orally or epidermilogically, for the sight is water, and to drink that lovely H2O will bring about at least a base state if not regained.
Otherwise, one must prevent this from occurring in the first place, hygenically and with immense care for discipline, at least in regards to a fair consistency. One may choose how to keep sane, and I myself enjoy sitting in a dark, quiet space with little to no action going on around me. If I do not do this at least once early in the day, the morning preferably, then I surely go insane and reach a state of intense and damaging psychosis. You may have some other activity that levels your humility, such as writing or drawing, perhaps a game on your phone or song you can sing. We should do these things early in the day, and aim for every day, and for at least 15 minutes, because frankly it is our closest interaction with anything resembling true purpose in a world where we are constantly beckoned to carry out some duty below our birthright’s desire. When we partake in these dream realizations, even for those brief periods in the day, I believe we make the heavens smile, and the hells dance, as what part of life’s dual nature does not enjoy seeing you fulfill even your most menial mental health checks?
